Nestled between the hills and the banks of the Loup river, the village is just a 5-minute walk from the villa: its lanes, restaurants and terraces cultivate a gentle, authentically Provençal way of life, with Saint-Paul-de-Vence three kilometres away and the beaches a quarter of an hour.
Flower-lined lanes, characterful restaurants, shaded terraces: La Colle-sur-Loup charms visitors all year round. The village is also known for its antique dealers and its tradition of the centifolia rose, once grown here for the great perfume houses of Grasse.
In summer the evenings come alive: open-air concerts, village festivities, cultural events and the weekly night market, where you wander among local artisans and producers. A blend of music, local life and Mediterranean ease.
From the village, the banks of the Loup offer a true haven: walking, running, cycling or simply pausing by the water under the plane trees. Further upstream, the Gorges du Loup and the perched villages of the hinterland (Tourrettes-sur-Loup, Gourdon) make unforgettable day trips.
